In celebration of Dhanteras and Diwali, the Mahila Samiti organized a grand event at the badminton hall of Bokaro Club. The president of the committee, Anita Tiwari, performed the Ganesh-Lakshmi puja, praying for happiness and prosperity for all. She extended Diwali greetings to all committee members and expressed her wishes for a bright future for all institutions run by the committee.
President Anita Tiwari, along with Vice Presidents Preeti Sharan, Monika Rangani, Nisha Srivastava, and Iti Rath, inaugurated the event by lighting ceremonial lamps. Secretary Richa Priyadarshini welcomed the president and vice presidents with a traditional tilak ceremony. The event’s highlight was a bumper housie game, skillfully conducted by cultural secretary Shweta Kumar, which kept everyone engaged and entertained.
As a gesture of goodwill, President Anita Tiwari distributed Diwali gifts to all members. Executive members of the committee, including Deputy Secretary Kumud Kumari, Treasurer Abhiruchi Priya, Anjali Tiwari, Pushpa Bharatiya, Anisha Jha, Neetu, Preeti Rajesh, Samita Mohanty, and Asha Raj, played vital roles in making the event a success.
