Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has released its fifth list. In the fifth list, the party has declared Louis Marandi as the candidate for Jama seat (ST). However, speculations were already being made about this. Which has now been curbed.
Earlier, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had released the fourth list of candidates for the Jharkhand assembly elections. In the fourth list, the names of the candidates from Saraikela and Khunti were announced.
JMM, which is leading the India Alliance in Jharkhand, has changed its candidate from Khunti. The party has given ticket to Ramsurya Munda from Khunti. JMM had earlier made Snehlata Kandulna the candidate from Khunti. Late on Thursday night, JMM released a new list, in which Ramsurya Munda was announced as the candidate from Khunti.
The JMM candidate from Saraikela assembly seat has also been finalized. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren is contesting from here. JMM has fielded Ganesh Mahli, who left BJP, against him. Ganesh Mahli has given tough competition to Champai Soren in the past as well. Ganesh Mahli used to contest on BJP ticket and Champai Soren on JMM ticket from the seat. This time both the main candidates on Saraikela seat are the same, only the party has changed. Champai Soren is BJP's candidate this time, while Ganesh Mahli is JMM's.
