As per the instructions of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHA), Ranchi , under the auspices of District Legal Services Authority, and, on the instructions of Principal District Judge - Co-Chairman, Rajesh Sharan Singh, "Monthly Lok Adalat" was organized on Saturday. On this occasion for execution of various cases, five benches (including Sub-Divisional Civil Court, Nagar Untari) were formed, in which Bimlesh Kumar Sahay, District and Additional Sessions Judge-V, Arvind Kachhap, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nagar Untari, Ms. Sangeeta, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Veena Kumari, Judicial Magistrate, Abhinav Kumar, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate were present. Along with the Judicial Magistrate, one advocate each was also nominated for all the benches. In which Advocates Pravind Kumar Sahu, Haseshwar Pandey-Nagar Untari, Nityanand Dubey, Anita Ranjan and Sudhir Kumar Tiwari.
A total of 39 cases including 23 criminal compoundable cases, 15 cases related to electricity department and 01 case related to civil case were disposed off in the monthly Lok Adalat. In which a total revenue of Rs 1,37,000.00/- was collected.
In Lok Adalat, Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajesh Sharan Singh distributed check of Rs 9,20,000/- was to beneficiaries in Motor Vehicle Act in Case No. 52/2022.
Judicial officers, advocates, court personnel, PLB Suryadev Chaudhary and parties were present on the said occasion.
In this way today's Lok Adalat was successfully completed.
