Local MP Alok Sharma opened Free Eye check-up and refraction error camp organized by Sewa Sadan Eye hospital here on Wednesday.
This camp was organized on the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. As many as 115 out patients were diagnosed in the camp. Out of these, 23 persons were found to be suffering from cataract while 13 persons were ailing with other eye diseases. Sewa Sadan provided 36 spectacles free of cost to patients. While 50 patients were provided free medicines.
MP Alok Sharma, praised the service activities of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. he also distributed free spaces and medicines to the ailing patients. He threw light on the personality and services to the nation of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpeyi. He distributed free specs and medicines to patients suffering from visual impairment. Sharma paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpeyi. MP also distributed blankets to the poor families living in nearby slums. SSEH Trustee Suresh Awatramani, Sr Optometrist Ajay Singh, BJP office bearer Rakesh Kukreja and others were also present in the programme.
