To mark the World Heritage Week- 2022, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal will organize a lecture under the Museum popular Lecture series on Friday at 3.30 pm in the auditorium of Aavriti Bhawan of the Museum.
Kalyan Kumar Chakraborty (IAS), former Director of the Museum and member of the RMMS will deliver a lecture on the topic of Museum Custodians of Human Museum. Kalyan Kumar Chakravarty is a 1970 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, you have worked in senior positions in various fields like Education, Culture, Home, Finance, Science, Forest, Tourism, Chief Electoral Officer etc. Shri Chakravarty held the post of Director of the IGRMS from 1993 to 2000.
Thereafter, he held the posts of Member Secretary, at Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, New Delhi Chairman Lalit Kala Academy, Director General National Museum Mr. Chakravarty received his PhD from Harvard University.
