Labour Minister inaugurates Ultra-modern burn unit at Devnika Hospital

On the occasion of the first Monday of the pious Sawan month, Devanika Hospital and Research Centre’s Ultra-Modern burn unit was inaugurated by Minister for Industries and Labour, Satyanand Bhokta.

The minister took a detailed tour of the hospital with the chairman Dr Anant Sinha. He appreciated the efforts taken to bring out all minor details particularly in cardiology (cath lab and cardiac OT), Neurosurgery, Nephrology , Gastroenterology and above all Plastic, Reconstructive and Burn care .

He was delighted to witness the first Craniofacial unit of eastern India comprising Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT and Dental services under one roof.

He was very impressed with the state of the art 15 bedded Burn unit and that it would be managed by a team of Plastic surgeons.

Dr Anant Sinha, Chairman, stressed that Devanika is the only hospital which can cater to all sorts of trauma as besides, ortho, neuro, gastro it also has Burns and Plastic surgery. He further said that the hospital is designed to cater to the poorest and the most affluent of the society under one roof. The hospital is managed by doctors themselves hence the quality is of the highest standards and the cost is reasonable.

If the government permits we are committed to support all government programmes like Ayushman Bharat, ESI, CAPF, ECHS and BPL cases

Kishore Mantri Chairman, FJCCI was present with all his executive body team members and took a detailed tour of the hospital and its facilities. He appreciated the special efforts taken by team Devanika for the safety, prevention and treatment of industrial workers. He assured of full support from Chamber of commerce and industries

Special Invitee Sushant Gaurav IAS, Director Industries. Minister Satyananda Bhokta assured of all help from the government. Seniormost plastic surgeon of the state Dr Ajoy Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of Plastic surgery. As it is close to World Plastic surgery day, he informed the gathering that plastic surgery works from head to toe.

Also present in the gathering were Dr Raj Kumar Pathak, Senior Plastic surgeon & Director Burns and Trauma, Devkamal group and Dr Tanmay Prasad, consultant Plastic surgeon were coordinating the programme and welcomed the guests.
