Radha Krishna Kishore popularly known as Chunnu babu is back in the Congress fold after 20 years of separation.
In all these 20 years Kishore remained in various political parties like BJP, AJSU, RJD etc.
Kishore said, "I left the Congress in 2004. It had given the Chhaterpur seat to the RJD and I then quit the Congress." He said he is happy about his home coming in Congress after a full two decades.
Kishore lost in 2009 but won in 2014 and as such he lost in 2019. His victory and defeat were alternative in the undivided Bihar also. Kishore's supporters say 2024 is the year of his victory.
However the poll going is very tough for Kishore. There are candidates from BJP and Samajwadi Party and incidentally the only women are Pushpa Devi in BJP the outgoing MLA here and Mamta Bhuiyan in Samajwadi Party.
