JMM cries foul on stopping Kalpana's helicopter

Wednesday, 13 November 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

JMM's central general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya held a press conference today and made serious allegations against BJP, Election Commission and Central Government. He said that yesterday Kalpana Soren's helicopter was stopped, and today also an Air Force helicopter was landed between our two helicopters. This shows that BJP is trying to stop the party's campaign.

Bhattacharya said that the Election Commission and other institutions of the Government of India are trying to stop our campaign. He said that the commission should not force us to come out on the streets and protest.

The party's general secretary said that the CM and Kalpana Soren kept requesting that they have to fly. But they were delayed by an hour. CEC Rajiv Kumar keeps talking about playing equally, that is, leaders of all parties should have equal publicity. But is this the way of equality? Either you don't talk about giving equal opportunity or get Hemant Soren arrested so that he cannot speak. He said that all this is happening at the behest of the Center, this cannot be denied.

Bhattacharya told the Election Commission, please do one more thing, stop the voting tomorrow and give the certificate to BJP. He said that he wants to tell the Election Commission that please do not force us to come out on the streets. He said that you are seeing how attempts are being made to create an impression in this state. ED is raiding us in the name of Bangladeshi infiltration so that it makes headlines, he said.
