Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Nalin Soren and Vijay Hansda filed their nomination from Dumka and Rajmahal respectively on Friday.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Champai Soren, Kalpana Soren, the State Congress Chief, Rajesh Thakur, Agriculture Minister Badal, Health Minister Banna Gupta and leaders of INDI Alliance participated. There will be an election meeting in support of the candidates, one in Dumka and the other in Sahibganj. In which all the leaders of the INDI alliance will participate.
Former MP Hemlal Murmu, Podaiyahat MLA, Pradeep Yadav, Littipara MLA, Dinesh Marandi and others participated in the nomination procession of Vijay Hansda. A large number of supporters and workers also participated.
Hansda has won the Rajmahal parliamentary seat twice in a row in 2014 and 2019. The party has given him a chance for the third time. He is son of Thomas Hansda, a prominent Congress leader in Santal Pargana. Before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Hansda had joined JMM. The last phase of voting for Rajmahal parliamentary seat is to be held on June 1.
Meanwhile, the fourth phase of the election campaign in Jharkhand will end on Saturday, May 11. For this phase, Rahul Gandhi himself has held election rallies in two out of four Lok Sabha elections. Now there is no program of any other star campaigner of Congress to come to Jharkhand. Tejashwi Yadav has held two election meetings in Palamu and Garhwa on May 8. Tejashwi Yadav will hold three more election meetings for this phase on May 10. But after the completion of voting for four seats on May 13, the star campaigners of India Alliance will use their full strength in the elections for three seats Chatra, Koderma and Hazaribagh in the fifth phase and four seats Giridih, Dhanbad, Ranchi and Jamshedpur in the sixth phase.
