Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Babulal Marandi has written in a social media post that after love jihad and land jihad, Jharkhand has now come under the grip of stone pelters.
Marandi said that the situation is such that stones are being pelted, lathis are being used, houses are being demolished, people are being beaten up on the basis of their votes.
Referring to the Sahebganj incident, the BJP State Chief has written on social media post that a similar incident has come to light in Mohammadpur village of Sahebganj, where Imam Mirza was beaten up, threatened and mentally tortured only because he had expressed his faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party and voted for the lotus flower. As soon as the results came, goons of the JMM party are beating up BJP-supported workers and voters, threatening to evict them from the village and saying that they have everyone from the Chief Minister to the police station In-Charge in their hands, so no one can harm them for their misdeeds, he added.
In this case, the victim Imam Mirza has given a written complaint to the police. It is said that he is a resident of Mohammadpur village of Sahibganj district. Mehboob Sheikh, Majharul Sheikh, Munna, Mustafa, Aashiq Sheikh tortured him for voting for BJP in the elections and also threatened to expel him from the village. At the same time, Babulal Marandi has also shared some pictures with the post made on this matter, in which two people are seen injured.
The BJP State Chief has requested Sahibganj DC to investigate the matter and give the harshest punishment to the culprits and provide security to Imam Mirza by taking impartial action.
