On the auspicious occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda and Jharkhand Foundation Day, Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, the donor of the land for Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji’s memorial site, paid tribute at the memorial and chanted slogans in front of the statue.
Prominent personalities present during the tribute included Rahul Chaudhary, State Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Alan Andrew, Anil Singh, Gyani Kumar, Gaurav Anand, Mahesh Yadav, Pappu Singh, Baneshwar Munda, and Bajrang Mahto.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaiswal expressed pride in being a resident and native of Jharkhand. He emphasized the teachings of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, who, at a young age, inspired everyone to fight against oppression. He stated that efforts will be made to follow Bhagwan Birsa Munda Ji’s ideals, and the ongoing struggle for jal, jungle, zameen (water, forest, and land) will continue with renewed vigor.
He further mentioned that while 24 years have passed since the formation of Jharkhand, the dreams envisioned by the ancestors for a prosperous and empowered state are yet to be fully realized. He assured that by adhering to the principles of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, efforts will be made to lead the people of Jharkhand towards progress and prosperity in the coming days.
