A lifer of the central jail identified as Ramdeo Korwa, 78, was declared brought dead in the MMCH Daltonganj where he was rushed this Monday morning from the central jail here.
The deceased was serving a life sentence since 2021, said the superintendent of the central jail Bhagirath Karjee.
Karjee confirmed that the doctor on duty at the MMCH this Monday morning declared Korwa brought dead.
Korwa hailed from Ranka block in Garhwa district.
Dr R K Ranjan of the MMCH Daltonganj who declared Korwa brought dead said diagnosis of the deceased was just impossible as he was dead already and the jail personnel who accompanied him just failed to share the deceased's health or disease history.
