Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has suspended the executive Officer of Urban Local Body, Bhiwani, Abhay Singh for delaying in issuing a plot allotment letter with immediate effect.
OSD to the Chief Minister, Bhupeshwar Dayal said the action was taken after a complaint was filed on the CM window portal by Shankar a resident of Ashok Colony, Bhiwani. He alleged that a plot was purchased by him from the Municipal Council, Bhiwani In 1985 and had also deposited one-fourth of the plot price and security money. However, the municipal council had not issued the allotment letter to date.
The complainant is ready to pay the remaining amount but despite repeated reminders (on May 12, 2022, August 4, November 17, 2022 and October 5, 2023) no action was taken by the department.
Being the executive Officer of Urban Local Body, Bhiwani, Abhay Singh was responsible for taking action for the matter. Hence the Chief Minister suspended him for the delay. Also, directions have been given to the Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department to take action and to send the report immediately.
