Starting from November 3, home voting will be available for voters over 85 years of age and those with at least 40% disability. Special polling teams will visit these voters at their homes to facilitate voting, in line with the Election Commission's guidelines.
The Election Commission has outlined several provisions for voters with special needs, including vehicle arrangements, wheelchair assistance, ramps, and Braille-script ballots, ensuring maximum accessibility for all voters on the polling day.
Mittal assured that all necessary measures are being put in place to ensure the voting process runs smoothly and fairly for everyone involved.
