Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday declared a rebellion against feudal forces, asserting that the opposition INDIA bloc will drive out the BJP from across the country.
Soren, addressing a rally here on the occasion of 'Hul Diwas' at Bhognadih in Sahibganj district, claimed that the saffron party has turned jittery after his release from jail and its leaders are conspiring against him again.
At the Bhognadih, Chief Minister Champai Soren was also present. Addressing the gathering he said that on this day (Hul Diwas) in 1855, the tribals under the leadership of Amar Veer Shaheed Sido Kanhu from Bhognadih raised the slogan against injustice, exploitation and British rule. Today the whole country is paying homage to these great heroes. All of us should take inspiration from the history, struggle and sacrifice of our Amar Shaheed Sido Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav and Phoolo-Jhano and pledge to strengthen our society and state. Developing Jharkhand in accordance with their ideals will be a true tribute to them.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is the land of heroes and martyrs. Many great heroes have emerged from every corner of this state, who did not accept injustice, exploitation and slavery. They fought a long struggle to protect their language, culture, tradition, civilization and water, forest and land. They shook the roots of the British by rebelling against the British rule. They were martyred while remaining firm on their resolve. The result of the sacrifice of these ancestors is that today the tribals and natives are safe.
Meanwhile, targeting the opposition, Hemant Soren said that it has been only two days since we came out of jail. There is panic among opposition camp. Now senior leaders of Saffron party are conspiring how to trap me again.
Hemant Soren said that today I will not say much special on Hul Diwas. This is my first time coming out of the house after being released from jail after the last 5 months. Where today I have reached on Hul Diwas and it is a coincidence that we have been celebrating this Hul Diwas for centuries, but today it is an inspiration day for me, for our Jharkhand residents, tribal-natives. On this day every year we gather here in lakhs.
But today, the Mahagathbandhan has decided to do a 'Hul Kranti' against the situation that has arisen in the country and the opposition has gathered. We have resolved that we will uproot the roots of these feudal and Manuvadi people from the state and the country.
The leaders of the Mahagathbandhan were implicated on various false issues. These people did not spare anyone, be it Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal or Hemant Soren. They implicated them in fabricated stories, fake cases for which there is no evidence and sent them to jail. They will put those who oppose them in jail. They will go to any extent. But they do not know that Jharkhand is a land that is completely soaked in blood. This is the land of martyrs, on one side there is Sidhu-Kanhu, on the other side there is Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Chand Bhairav and on the other side there is Nilambar-Pitambar. How can they scare us?
We have worked in the last 4 years and have worked to take it to its conclusion. We have reached every village and panchayat through the 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' program. We had said earlier that when our government is formed, it will run from the village and not from the headquarters. Today, a lot of effort was made to stop this. We too had to bear the brunt of it. This five-month jail sentence but the truth cannot be suppressed for too long. It cannot be tied down, it stands like a mountain in some form or the other. A mountain which such feudal thinking will never dare to shake.
Soren also asserted that Jharkhand is known as a land of revolutionaries and we are not afraid of jail, lathi or execution.
The former CM was released on Friday from the Birsa Munda Jail after the Jharkhand high court granted bail to him in a money laundering case.
