Heavy rains likely in State for 3 days from July 22

The weather of Jharkhand is changing every moment. Sometimes dense clouds and sometimes bright sunshine are seen. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of heavy rain for three days from July 22 in many areas of the state including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department informed that the low pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal will be responsible for this. Its effect will be seen in the entire Jharkhand and rain is expected to continue till July 24. Although the monsoon remained weak in the last 24 hours, but from July 22, the monsoon will pick up speed again. In fact, as soon as the process of formation of low pressure in the Bay is completed by July 19, there will be heavy rain in the entire state including Ranchi along with the coastal areas of Bengal and Odisha.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said, there is a possibility of good rain in most parts of the State including Ranchi from July 22. Monsoon will pick up speed due to the low pressure forming in the Bay of Bengal. The effect of low pressure will remain in the entire state till July 24. In such a situation, there may be heavy rain for three days.

At the same time, the monsoon remained weak in the state during the last 24 hours. 29.6 mm of rain fell in Dhalbhumgarh of East Singhbhum. 26.6 mm rain was recorded in Giridih, 12.2 in Ramgarh and 10.0 mm in Dhanbad. 3.4 mm of rain fell in Ranchi in the last 24 hours. From June 21 till now, 187.2 mm of rain has fallen in Ranchi. This is 50 less than normal. However, till now 371.0 mm of rain should have fallen. Till now 188.1 mm of rain has fallen in the entire state. But the average rainfall should be 359.8 mm. This is 48 less than normal.
