Water levels in rivers, drains, dams, culverts and near old bridges have risen sharply due to heavy rainfall.
People near flood-prone areas have been told to follow warnings about waterlogging, be prepared to relocate to higher grounds, not to drive on submerged roads and cooperate with the authorities.
