Sants and the Saffron have their own specialty. Sants work to provide energy to society and thousands of lives by inspiring them to follow the right path. Just as the Sun and the Diya provide energy and free us from darkness, similarly sants provide new light in the form of knowledge to our lives. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said this in the ‘Amritsya Maa Narmada Pad Parikrama Programme’ organized at Brahmapuri Ghat in Omkareshwar today. Chief Minister Yadav offered prayers to Maa Narmada and performed aarti at Brahmapuri Ghat.

Chief Minister Yadav said that sants always inspire and encourage us to follow the right path. He said that rivers, mountains, and hills are a gift of nature to humans. We all need to make efforts to conserve it. We are proud of our culture and we should do so.

Chief Minister Yadav said that proper arrangements will be ensured at every temple in the state. He said that by developing the entire Narmada Parikrama Path in the state in a better way, and ensuring arrangements will provide convenience to the Narmada Parikrama pilgrims. He said that a 5-member committee of ministers has also been formed for the same.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is creating a special identity in the world. He said that we all are proud of Indian culture. Maa Narmada originates from Amarkantak and meets the Gulf of Khambhat. Maa Narmada travels a long journey throughout this route. Wherever it passes, it creates life. Maa Narmada darshan is the darshan of life. Chief Minister Yadav said that the state government is continuously making efforts for various development works in the entire Narmada basin.

Yadav said that the many service projects going on in the entire Parikrama Path of ??Maa Narmada, including free Annakshetra and housing arrangements, inspire the world, and this happens only in Maa Narmada khand in India. This is even more amazing in Madhya Pradesh, where food is sent from door to door for those doing parikrama.

Revered Gurudev Vivek Ji, Mahant Mangaldas Ji Tyagi of Jod Ganpati Hanuman Temple Omkareshwar, Mahant Kailash Bharti of Mahanirvani Akhara Omkareshwar, Mahant Pranavanand Ji Saraswati of Markandeya Sanyas Ashram Omkareshwar and Brahmachari Ji Maharaj of Nijanand Dham Khachrod, Khandwa MLA Kanchan Tanve, Pandhana MLA  Chhaya More, Mandhata MLA Narayan Patel, District Panchayat President Pinky Wankhede besides sants, public representatives, and officials were present during occasion.

Yadav said that the Narmada Parikrama app will help the people to have correct during Parikrama and will also increase employment opportunities for the local people. He said that employment opportunities available locally will keep people connected to their villages and cities. Efforts to employ local people through the digital revolution will write a new chapter in the history of the Narmada River. People doing parikrama with this app will also become familiar with the local culture. Parikrama will not just be a spiritual practice but will also be a journey of Indian culture and the journey starting from Madhya Pradesh will write more such chapters across India.

Chief Minister  Yadav said that to keep the sacred form of Maa Narmada intact, the devotees doing Parikrama should plant 5 saplings (seed balls) each on the banks. In this way, when both the government and the society make coordinated efforts, the original sanctity of Maa Narmada will remain.
