Garba programme at Police Line, Nehru Nagar

For the entertainment and maintain enthusiasm of the police families, DGP Sudhir Saxena has taken a special initiative and Madhya Pradesh Police "Garba Mahotsav" organized in Police Line Nehru Nagar for the last 3 years.

The Garba was organized on  October 8 and 9 under the guidance of Director General of Police Saxena which concluded with dance on filmy and religious tunes.

The participants enjoyed the Garba Mahotsav by dancing on different tunes and steps.

About 1100 participants including girls and women of Bhopal Police, 7th Battalion, 23rd Battalion, and 25th Battalion participated in the grand Garba and made it grand and joyful. Along with this, apart from the police family, the city residents also reached the Garba venue and enjoyed the Police Garba.

On the second day of the grand Garba The day was inaugurated by DGP Saxena by performing the aarti of Ambe Maa. All the senior officers of the police department were present with their families and enjoyed the grand Garba festival with the police families.

An exhibition was organized by the Women Security Branch, Traffic Police for awareness at the Garba venue and the people of the police families had set up 35 stalls of food and delicacies, which were visited by DGP Saxena and other officers and appreciated all of them.

After the ceremony, DGP Saxena while addressing praised all the participants and said that all the participants made the Garba festival special and successful by working very hard. Everyone made the Police Garba grand and successful with enthusiasm and full zeal. Everyone deserves congratulations for this. I hope that in the coming year there will be an even better grand Garba program. Heartiest wishes of Navratri and Dussehra to all the families.

After that, the police families were congratulated for the said event. The women and girls thanked the Director General of Police and expressed their gratitude later  DGP Saxena presented gifts to all the participants.
