Former JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom joins BJP

Sunday, 01 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

A day after former Chief Minister Champai Soren joined BJP, JMM's strongman Leader, Lobin Hembram, who was an MLA for five times, also joined the BJP state office today.

State BJP president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, Chief Minister of Assam Government and co -incharge of Jharkhand Assembly Elections Himanta Biswa Sarma, Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri gave him membership of BJP.

Former Chief Minister Champai Soren, Madhu Koda, Sita Soren were also present on the occasion. The program was conducted by State General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh.

Addressing the program, State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that the air of Jharkhand is changing. The winds of change are flowing. Today, those who irrigate the movement by sweating blood for a separate state are getting humiliated, and brokers are getting rich in the happiness of power.

He said that those who are pain of Jharkhand, who love soil, want to save culture and leave JMM and come to BJP. He said that the same trust and trust increased in people like Champai Soren, Lobin Hembrom.

He said that the BJP gave a separate state. After two and a half years, the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee realized the dream of a separate Jharkhand state in his government. He said that the BJP's intention is strong. The party does what she says. Lobin Hembrom also recognized this.

He said that the BJP is determined, dedicated for the development of tribal society. Atal ji formed a separate tribal ministry at the center. Santhali language was included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Not only the state was formed on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, but the Modi government also declared Birsa Jayanti as Tribe Gaurav Day. Today, the first citizen of the country is Draupadi Murmu, daughter of the Santhal tribal society.

Marandi also gave the signed membership form to Lobin Hembrom.

Addressing the program after the membership, Lobin Hembram said that agitators are being forced to leave the JMM today. Now JMM is no longer the JMM of Guruji. Now the arrow is not in the bow.

He said that we were all followers of revered Shibu Soren. He always taught the workers to oppose the wrongdoings. Today we all follow the path given by them and when someone is opposing the decisions against Jharkhand from the House to the road. We were forced to be humiliated. In such a situation, there is no justification for living in that party.

He said that water, forest, land is being looted in the state. Decisions are being made against the feelings of tribal natives. Guruji opposed alcohol and Hemant Sarkar was selling liquor.

He said that the identity of Jharkhand is in danger today. The state's demography has changed from Bangladeshi intruders. The intruders stayed the land by marrying tribal daughters forcing them to leave the village.

He said that the BJP is fighting to save Jharkhand. The BJP gave it a separate state. If given, he will save and will also develop.
