The Vigilance Festival "Festival de CCL" was inaugurated on Monday under the Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, which will run from October 28 to October 30.
The first day of this festival was inaugurated by Chief Guest CMD CCL Nilendu Kumar Singh. On this occasion, CCL Director (Finance), Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director Technical (Operations), Harish Duhan, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Pankaj Kumar, General Managers, Department Heads and a large number of employees were present.
The program was inaugurated by CMD CCL by administering the oath of integrity to all the people present.
Singh also underlined the importance of honesty on this occasion. He said that CCL is fulfilling its responsibility with full honesty and integrity and is committed to the energy security of the country and after this he inaugurated the e-Pledge booth and inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week by drone.
CMD CCL flagged off the Vigilance Awareness Rath, which will visit various places with the aim of spreading awareness against corruption.
Thereafter, CVO while addressing the gathering stressed upon the importance of vigilance and integrity. He explained why it is necessary to be vigilant in our professional lives, and also shared his views on this year’s theme “Progress of the Nation through Culture of Integrity”. Kumar said that following integrity is extremely essential for the progress of not only the organization but the entire nation.
All the dignitaries at the event interacted with live painting artists. These artists will be presenting live painting on all three days of the festival, in which they will display their art on themes promoting awareness against corruption and integrity.
Thereafter, CCL employees and officers participated in large numbers in the Vigilance Awareness Rally. Through this rally, everyone gave the message of corruption free India. This was followed by cultural programmes in which tribal dance, Ganesh Vandana dance and “Unity in Diversity” dance were performed.
A CCL employee presented Ganesh Vandana song in her melodious voice, which won everyone's heart. Apart from this, a street play on corruption prevention was also performed, which gave a message of awareness to all the audience.
After the cultural programs, various competitions were started. These included the "Street Painting" competition, in which students from various prestigious educational institutions presented their amazing paintings on topics like "Say No to Corruption" and "Promote Honesty". These youth painted their imaginations on the canvas through colors, which mesmerized everyone. The students also participated in the Rangoli competition, where they won everyone's heart with their amazing creations. The audience praised this unique creativity of the students.
After this, a solo dance competition was organized, in which the students gave presentations based on topics like patriotism, social message and nationalism. Their performance overwhelmed everyone. Along with this, the group created a unique atmosphere with its unique presentation of music and rhythm, which forced the audience to dance.
The aim of this festival of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 is to inspire everyone to imbibe the values of integrity, honesty and vigilance. These various activities being organized under the Vigilance Festival are creating a new awareness not only for CCL employees but also for all the visitors.
