A meeting of the Supply Department was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. Paddy Procurement Plan 2023-24 was first reviewed in the meeting. In which the achievement against the target of paddy procurement, number of registered farmers, number of selected rice mills, status of payment made to farmers was reviewed in detail. NFSA in the district, distribution of food grains, gram dal received under green ration card, status of food grain distribution in Lohardaga district in the state under NFSA in the month of July 2024, status of food grain distribution in the blocks, status of allocation received, allocation received under green ration card. 

And the status of distributed food grains, status of distribution of food grains among the beneficiaries related to PVTG Postman Scheme, status of dhoti-lungi-sari distribution and other points were reviewed. The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Supply Officer to ensure 100 percent distribution of food grains in the next 10 days and 100 percent distribution among the left out beneficiaries under the PVTG Postman Scheme. For the reason that food grains have not been received in the district blocks, a meeting was held with the transporters and instructions were given to get the allocation of food grains and distribute them. Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, District Supply Officer Gyan Shankar Jaiswal, District Agriculture Officer Shiv Pujan Ram, District Cooperative Officer and others were present in the meeting.
