Elderly couple attacked in Ishwar Nagar

An elderly couple living in Ishwar Nagar was attacked by relatives with sharp edged weapons, rods and sticks.

The accused also attacked the son and daughter who came to defend the elderly couple. After the incident, the police kept the family, who came to lodge a complaint, sitting in the police station for hours.

Later an FIR was registered. The complainant party has complained against the Habibganj police station in the Police Commissioner's Office.

Vipin Singh Rajput (25) lives in Ishwar Nagar and operates a grocery shop. He said that on the night of July 7, after closing the shop, he was standing outside the house with his friend Raju Sahu. Then his uncle's son Rohit Rajput, who lives in the neighborhood, came. His family and we had an old rivalry. Due to this rivalry, Rohit started abusing on which his father Dilip Singh Rajput came and tried to convince Rohit. On this, the accused misbehaved with the father.

On protest, he went to his house and came back armed with a knife, rod and stick along with father Bhagwan Singh Rajput, mother Sangeeta Bai, brother Hrithik, Rishabh. After this, he started beating father and when Vipin went to rescue him, the accused beat started to beat him and spotting the attack mother Anita Rajput and sister Jyoti came to rescue them.

Rohit stabbed his mother on the shoulder and Bhagwan Singh  was hit on the head. The three were brutally beaten with sticks and suffered serious injuries in the attack.

Vipin told that he reached the police station after the incident. The police did not take any action there, kept him sitting in the police station for more than an hour. Later, an FIR was registered under very simple sections. His mother and father, injured in the attack, were admitted in JP Hospital.
