Welcoming Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Jharkhand, JMM today attacked Babulal Marandi and BJP. The party said that ED action in Jharkhand is taken by identifying people despite having evidence against those who are with BJP or are BJP supporters, no action is taken whereas ED takes selective action against those who oppose BJP.

Addressing a press conference JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya said that before the Lok Sabha elections, Jharkhand and the Country saw two types of pictures. “Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Delhi CM and many such people who opposed BJP and Modi were put in jail. This is because in Jharkhand, apart from all the ED officers, there is another ED Special Director, whose name is BL Marandi (Babulal Marandi),” he added.

Bhattacharya said that Marandi decides in Jharkhand against whom ED action is to be taken and against whom it is not. “In the middle of the Lok Sabha elections, this Special Director BL Marandi introduced Vishnu Agarwal, accused in the land scam and out on bail, to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Not only this, former journalist and land dealer Kamlesh, who did not appear before ED despite notice after notice, was also introduced to the Finance Minister by ED Special Director BL Marandi. Everyone knows that ED comes under the Finance Ministry. Therefore, now on July 22, the Home Minister of the Country is coming, who is also a member of the PM's Special Affairs Cabinet,”he added.

The party General Secretary said that which tainted and accused will this Special Director BL Marandi introduce to the Home Minister? “Which infiltrators will he introduce to him? If their names were made public today itself, it would have been better because BJP President Babulal Marandi and the Leader of the Opposition are infiltrators in their own party. These things were said by the Spokesperson while releasing the photo of both the accused with the Finance Minister. Marandi is also present in both these photos, he added.

Bhattacharya said that a letter has come to the Jharkhand Government from the DGP of the Police Department of the Assam Government. “This letter has now become a document for JMM. It is said in this letter that Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is the BJP's co-assembly election In-Charge in Jharkhand along with the Chief Minister of Assam. Who is provided with Z plus security. He will keep coming and going to Jharkhand for the time being. He has been provided this security by the order of the Home Ministry. Therefore, if the Jharkhand Government has a problem, then the Assam Government is ready to bear the expenditure being made on his travel and security,” he added.

The party Leader further said that this letter in itself is giving rise to many questions. “Should it be assumed that after the election bond, this will become a big case of misuse of Government money? Will Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is a Chief Minister, work for the BJP organization in Jharkhand and his expenses will be paid from the treasury of Assam. This letter itself is an admission of how Government money will be used for the party organization. The Home Minister will also have to answer this because he is also the head of BSF and Police,” he added.

Bhattacharya said that on July 20, the Home Minister will not give election tips to thousands of BJP workers, but tips of lies because he is an expert in lying and spreading confusion. “He himself has admitted that once he had asked to spread the rumours in UP that Akhilesh Yadav had slapped his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. This lie was spread so fast in UP that it became National news. Later the entire matter turned out to be a lie. Similarly, he will come to Jharkhand and spread lies and misconceptions and will ask his workers to spread them in the entire State,” he added.
