During a review meeting of agriculture department and Farmer Producer Organisations under Central Sector Scheme for promotion and formation of 10000 FPOs, Dhar District Collector Priyank Mishra launched packaged fennel, which is cleaned, graded and packed by Birsha Krishi Vikas Farmer Producer Company Limited, Umarban, District Dhar.
NABARD is the implementing agency for the FPO and Collector Priyank Mishra congratulated NABARD for helping the FPO in produce of a marketable product.
The FPO is promoted by Cluster Based Business Organisation (CBBO) - Krishi Vikas Va Garmin Prashikshan Sanstha.
The meeting was attended by Dy Director Agriculture Shri G S Mohniya, Smt Sagarika Chaphekar, DDM, NABARD and other departmental officials.
