In line with the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand's directives, the #NaamJancho social media campaign was launched on July 25, 2024, to raise public awareness about the voter list. District Electoral Officer (DEO) cum Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vijay Jadhav, along with other officials, participated in the campaign. The event took place from 12 PM to 1 PM.
At the Samaharnalay Auditorium, DEO and DC Vijay Jadhav led the senior officials, including all BDOs, COs, and other district-level officers and staff, in participating in the #NaamJancho social media campaign. Each participant checked their names on the BLO app and uploaded photos of their verification to their social media platforms.
Meanwhile, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) were present at all polling stations across the district. They assisted voters in checking their names on the electoral rolls published on the same day. Voters with missing or incorrect names were provided with Forms 6 and 8 for corrections.
Following the instructions of the DEO and DC, JSLPS members also engaged in spreading awareness in the community, encouraging voters to check their names on the list and participate in the #NaamJancho social media campaign. Self-Help Group members actively participated in the campaign, furthering its outreach.
