The meeting of the executive body of the District Tourism Promotion Committee was held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. Meanwhile, various points were discussed in the meeting and necessary instructions were given. While giving instructions, DC Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna said that applications for vacancies for sanitation workers and security personnel at notified tourist places should be received within a week. Besides, instructions were given to prepare estimates and work on information boards related to I Love Lohardaga and other signages at tourist places. 

Similarly, instructions were given to notify the Runia-Jhunia martyrdom site in Tiko tourist spot of Kudu block and the Buddhist monastery of Kairo block. In order to encourage swimming sports in Sadar Block Lohardaga, instructions were given by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna to prepare an estimate for the construction of a swimming bridge. Instructions were given to install signage for information about tourist places. Similarly, instructions were also given to set up a martyr's memorial in the memory of the soldiers martyred in the Naxalite incident at the tourist spot Dhardharia. In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman, Forest Divisional Officer Abhishek Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, District Public Relations Officer Shivanandan Badaik, District Sports Officer Upvan Bada, Municipal Council Administrator Jaipal Singh, nominated member Nishith Jaiswal and Syed Khalid Shah was present.
