Bokaro – In a unique initiative to foster curiosity and real-world learning, Class 5 students from DAV Public School, Sector-4, recently embarked on an educational visit to Bokaro Airport. The students, bubbling with questions, were warmly received by airport officials, who offered engaging insights into the workings of an airport.
Throughout the tour, officials answered a wide array of questions from the students, covering topics from the circular design of the runway to the process of receiving signals for flights. They shared details on the types of fuel used, methods pilots employ to navigate challenges, and the impact of wind direction on flights, bringing the world of aviation to life for the young visitors.
School Principal Sarbendu Shekhar Kar commented on the visit's significance, stating, “School education reaches its fullest potential when it nurtures curiosity. Empowering students to ask questions, explore concepts analytically, and build confidence is the true aim of these educational trips.”
