Constable commits suidie by hanging at NDRF barrack

A 37-year-old constable committed suicide by hanging inside barrack at the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) camp located in Shahjahanabad area on Saturday night.

Police said that a constable committed suicide by hanging in the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) camp located in Shahjahanabad police station area of Bhopal.

The police reached the information and sent the body of the constable to the PM. The reasons for suicide could not be revealed due to non-receipt of suicide note. The police is investigating the matter.

SI Pawan Sen said that Sonu Yadav's father Ramprakash Yadav (35) a resident of a village near Indore was a constable in NDRF. He had guard duty on Saturday night, but he did not come for duty. When his fellow employees reached his barracks to call him, they saw that he had hanged himself by making a noose of rope on the fan.

The matter was immediately informed to the police station. Police reached the NDRF office at Idgah Hills, took possession of the body and sent it to the PM. The postmortem of the body was conducted on Sunday afternoon in the presence of family members.

Sonu was the father of two children. Mother had also reached the mortuary along with her father.  The family members have also denied having any information regarding the reason for Sonu's suicide.

According to TI UPS Chauhane, the friends of the deceased told that Sonu used to drink. They were last heard arguing over a call. This call was from one of his close relatives. After talking on the call, he went to the barrack and committed suicide. Whose call it was from could not be confirmed. The case is being investigated.

Meanwhile a 23-year-old youth by committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling in a tent godown located at P&D intersection in TT Nagar police station area.

He came to Bhopal three months ago in search of work. On Sunday morning, fellow employees informed the police after spotting the body.

His father Sumer told that three months ago his son had come to Bhopal in search of work. Here he started working in a tent house located at P&T intersection. Lived in tent godown only.

At around 7 am on Sunday morning, the son's friends called and informed about his death. It is not known why he committed suicide.

Police have not found any suicide note from him. His mobile phone has been confiscated by the police. Here the police say that they have established a route and started an investigation. After PM, the body has been handed over to the family members. The associates of the deceased will be interrogated.
