Confluence of Indian and foreign cultures witnessed

On the third day of the four-day International Dance Festival of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association, Greenwood Public School Udbhav Utsav, there was a confluence of Indian and foreign cultures. While foreign artists enthralled the audience with their folk art and culture, the artists of the Indian teams also won the hearts of the people with their captivating performances. The audience was thrilled to see the attractive costumes of the artists of the foreign team; they watched the performances with bated breath.

The dance competition was held in two sessions today. In the morning session, solo dance was presented at the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), while in the evening, the Indian team's dance was performed at Greenwood Public School in Aditya Puram. The final round took place at Greenwood Public School. During this time, foreign artists also spread the colourful spring in the moonlit night with their performances.

46 performances were given in two categories of classical and semi-classical in solo dance. During this, Kimaya gave the message of women empowerment by describing through dance what it means to be a woman. Veena Pathak mesmerized the audience with her presentation of Chalte... Chalte Mil Gaya and Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. Manya Nanda forced people to think with her touching presentation of the shade of nature and mother's love. People praised the presentation of Main Deewani Ho Gayi... Mashoor Mere Ishq Ki Yeh Kahani Ho Gayi.

The judges of the competition, Vani Madhav Gurgaon, Mansi Saxena Jalandhar and Ruchi Gupta Delhi selected the winning participants for the final. The chief guest of the program, Joint Director of Public Education Deepak Pandey and Director of IITTM Alok Sharma encouraged the participants.

In the evening, the open stage of Greenwood Public School was filled with colourful songs, music and dance. Apart from Classical School, Classical Open Semi Classical School and Semi Classical Open, final competition was held among 20 teams in Folk School and Folk Open category. During this, foreign teams also left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the people with their excellent performances. Artists from Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, Netherlands and Kyrgyzstan gave a glimpse of the folk art, costumes and culture of their respective countries.
