An MoA was signed between Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and technology (CIPET):Center for Skilling and Technical support (CSTS), Ranchi on 01.03.2024 for “Providing Skill Development Training in the field of Machine Operator to 80 underprivileged/unemployed/underemployed youth from Jharkhand state through CIPET: CSTS” under CSR of CMPDIL(HQ), Ranchi. CMPDIL has approved Rs.68 Lakhs for the skill development program. The MoA was exchanged between R.K. Mahapatra, GM (HRD/CSR), CMPDIL and Pravin B. Bachhav, Joint Director & Head, CIPET:CSTS, Ranchi.
Forty beneficiaries would be trained in Machine Operator -Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and forty in Machine Operator -Injection Moulding Technology at CIPET, Hehal, Ranchi. The courses will be of six-month duration including boarding and lodging, aligned to NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) & approved by National Skills Qualification Committee (NSQC) - National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.
Skill development programs enable the youth to upgrade the skills and gain industrial exposure and expertise resulting in securing jobs in the Plastic engineering sector.
On this occasion, CSR team of CMPDI(HQ), Ranchi and Masoom Haider, Shahnawaz Ahmad, Admin. Asst. were present from CIPET:CSTS, Ranchi.
