Chief Minister Hemant Soren, is set to inaugurate the newly constructed building of MGM Medical Hospital and commence the much-awaited OPD (Outpatient Department) services at the hospital on Saturday. The event, which will take place at MGM Medical College campus in Dimna, East Singhbhum district, is expected to be a landmark occasion for the region’s healthcare infrastructure. Additionally, the Chief Minister will address a public gathering at Baliguma ground following the inauguration ceremony.
In preparation for the high-profile event, a comprehensive inspection of the venues, including the hospital premises and the Baliguma meeting ground, was conducted by District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, PD ITDA Dipankar Chaudhary, Rural cum City SP Rishabh Garg, and SDM Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar. Senior district officials reviewed the progress of the arrangements and issued important guidelines for ensuring the smooth execution of the program.
The district administration has left no stone unturned to ensure that the inauguration is organized efficiently. During the inspection, the officials meticulously examined key aspects such as security measures, law and order maintenance, traffic management, and vehicle parking. District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal emphasized the importance of punctuality and professionalism among all deputed officers, instructing them to be present at their designated posts in proper dress code and to perform their duties diligently.
Senior officials also provided point-wise instructions on various logistical details, including the cleanliness of the event venues, streamlined traffic movement, and transport arrangements to the hospital and Baliguma ground. The District Magistrate stressed the need for coordinated efforts to ensure proper seating arrangements for dignitaries, media personnel, and attendees. He also highlighted the need for adequate public facilities such as drinking water supply, mobile toilets, and emergency medical services.
Security arrangements have been a top priority for the district administration. The Rural cum City SP, Rishabh Garg, along with senior police officers, has been entrusted with maintaining law and order during the event. Detailed guidelines were issued to ensure the safety of the public and dignitaries attending the inauguration. The officials also discussed the placement of barricades at strategic locations to manage the flow of people and vehicles. Police presence will be strengthened, with magistrates and officers on duty tasked with reviewing security protocols at every level.
As part of the meticulous planning, the district administration has ensured that essential services, including drinking water, sanitation, and medical assistance, are in place. Mobile toilets will be set up for public convenience, and a medical team, fire brigade, and ambulances will be stationed at the venue to address any emergencies.
