CM inaugurates Mudma Leprosy Asylum project under PMAY

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today formally inaugurated the newly constructed Mudma Kushtashram Project located near Sai City, Ranchi, state-sponsored under PMAY (Urban) scheme. On this occasion, the CM said that special families are getting the benefit of this project being launched today. This shelter has been built for a special group. The Chief Minister said that I would like this complex to be known as "Nirmal Awas". All the people present here today are already aware of this project.

The CM said that it has always been the endeavour of our government that the voice of the government reaches every needy person, irrespective of the class or community they belong to, whatever situation or circumstances they are living in, the public welfare schemes run by the government reach them. The CM said that his government constantly listens to the common people, understands them and also works for their development. He said that the state government will continue to do public welfare work with commitment in future also.

Soren said that today is a historic day. The state government has made a better effort. Hundreds of people are becoming owners of their homes today. They will live with their entire family in these newly built houses from today. The Chief Minister said that such welfare schemes are being started in different districts for special groups of families like you. With the hope that in the coming time, our government will be able to reduce the sufferings of people like you who are struggling to make a living.

The CM said that his government is responsible and sensitive towards the poor and the needy. Despite adverse challenges, public welfare works are being done continuously and will continue in the coming days. The CM said that the state government is working to give all classes and communities their rights.

The CM said that today is an auspicious day. It is raining heavily today. Till a few days ago, the farmers of the state were looking towards the sky as to when it would rain. They were looking worried about the abnormal rain. The way the environment is indicating change, it seems that the coming time will be more challenging. He congratulated and wished all those who received the keys to their homes. The CM said that in the coming time, we will try to add more dimensions to this complex. Also, we will all try together to make the complex the most beautiful complex of the city.

On this occasion, Minister of Urban Development and Housing Department Hafizul Hasan, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Urban Development Secretary Arwa Rajkamal, IG Ranchi Akhilesh Jha, City Administrator Ranchi Amit Kumar along with other senior officials and a large number of members of beneficiary families were present.
