CM inaugurates Grid Sub-station, transmission line in Barhait

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that the availability of energy to every home, electricity to every home is the priority of his government. He said that it was our resolution that there should be adequate electricity facilities not only in the city but also in the villages. For a long time, the villagers living in the Barhet area were suffering from the problem of electricity, today their government is solving it.

Today, in the presence of all of you, the Barhait electricity sub-station grid has been formally inaugurated. The CM was addressing the inauguration of 132/33 KV Grid Sub-Station (Barhet) and 132 KV (Pakur-Rajmahal) double path LILO transmission line and inauguration-foundation laying and asset distribution program of various schemes organized at Singa Maidan under Barhet block of Sahibganj district today.

The CMsaid that not only the power grid has been inaugurated here but the state government has also given a big gift to our poor, poor, rural people of the state, who are economically weak. Now the state government is also providing 200 units of electricity free of cost to the people of Jharkhand. He said that complaints come from many places that there is no meter installed in someone's house, yet the electricity bill is coming and they are not getting the benefit of 200 units. We will resolve all these complaints soon.

A decision will be taken on this in the cabinet meeting to be held on the coming 24th. So that all the electricity related problems of the people of the state can be solved. The Chief Minister said that this is not just an inauguration but the officials of the electricity department have been instructed that this grid sub-station should operate smoothly. There should be a strong arrangement to ensure that there is minimal breakdown in the grid sub-station. There should not be any kind of hindrance in this and there should not be a situation of breakdown.

The CM said that the "Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" program is going to be launched again. Soon our government will give honorarium to eligible women above 21 years and below 50 years of age from families living below the poverty line. About 40 lakh women will come under the purview of this scheme and they will get the benefits of the scheme. He said that very soon a race will be organized for police recruitment. Its preparation has been done. Lakhs of applications have been received for constable recruitment, its recruitment will also start. A few days ago, 1500 teachers have been given appointment letters. The CM said that the process of appointment is being taken forward by removing the obstacles very fast. The process of giving appointment will continue.

The CM said that 'Shivgadi' located in Rajmahal is known as a religious tourist place. During Shravani Mela, devotees come here and they offer water to Mahadev by traveling a long distance. The state government has decided that there should be a ropeway along with stairs here, so that more devotees join here and this place can be known as a famous tourist place in the country. In the coming time, this religious place will be covered with high level facilities.

On this occasion, the CM inaugurated 132/33 KV grid sub-station of 100 MVA capacity and 132 KV double path LILO transmission line at a cost of Rs 7064 lakh. At the same time, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 5 schemes worth Rs 16581.866 lakh. In this, inauguration of Rs 7064 lakh and foundation stone of 4 schemes worth Rs 9517.866 lakh was laid. The CM distributed assets worth Rs 3880.955 lakh among a total of 1039 beneficiaries in Rajmahal and Barhet blocks.

On this occasion, Rajmahal MP Vijay Kumar Hansda, former minister Hemlal Murmu, District Council President Monika Kisku, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Managing Director of Jharkhand Energy Transmission Corporation KK Verma, Commissioner Santhal Pargana Division Lalchand Dadel along with senior officials of the district administration and a large number of other people were present.
