Chief Minister Hemant Soren today asked the officials that the system should be such that better results can come out. He was holding a high-level review meeting with senior officials on the subject of revenue collection, preparations for the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana program to be held on 28 December-2024 and JSSC's General Graduate Qualification Joint Competitive Examination -2023. He said that no laxity should be taken in resolving the problems and complaints of the people of the state and complete the process of legal action by investigating with complete impartiality.
The CM directed the concerned departments to speed up revenue collection. He said that the target set for revenue collection should be met at all costs. Along with this, explore the possibilities of new sources for increasing revenue. He also said that there should be a quick solution to the problems in tax collection. In this direction, prepare a system for coordination between the revenue related departments. He directed the officials to take initiative towards creating an enforcement system to identify fake registrations and invoices under the Commercial Tax Department as well as to stop it. During this, the officials apprised the Chief Minister of the information related to revenue collection so far.
The CM said that women beneficiaries from all over the state will participate in the Jharkhand Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana program to be held in Namkum, Ranchi on December 28. In such a situation, care should be taken that they do not face any kind of problem. It is known that through this program, now the honour amount of Rs 2500 per month will be transferred to all the beneficiaries of this scheme through DBT.
The CM said that in accordance with the instructions given by the Jharkhand High Court in the case registered regarding the controversies related to the JSSC General Graduate Qualification Combined Competitive Examination-2023, complete the investigation with complete impartiality and submit the report. He said that during the investigation, the irregularities and complaints received during the conduct of the examination and the controversy and uproar after the result should also be investigated and action should be ensured against whoever is guilty in this.
He said that the recruitment process is going on on a large scale in the state. In such a situation, there is a need to move forward in the direction of conducting the examination in online mode so that there is no scope for irregularities in the competitive examinations conducted for appointments. He said that cases like paper leak can be controlled to a large extent by taking the examination through Computer Based Test (CBT). At the same time, along with the problems caused by conducting offline examination, time will also be saved.
he CM reviewed the cases of POCSO Act, domestic violence, atrocities and sexual harassment against women, human trafficking and migration and gave many important instructions to the officers. He said that all the arrangements should be in place for the safety of women. Awareness campaigns should be run in schools and colleges. There should be intensive police patrolling in rural areas along with cities. At the same time, whatever complaints and FIRs are registered in such cases, they should be investigated with complete impartiality and strict action should be taken against the culprits. There should also be a system for monitoring migration from the state. There should be a system where the migrants can voluntarily register themselves and ensure that they are given the benefits of government schemes. The Chief Minister said that an integrated app should be made at the state level for the services and helpline numbers run by various departments of the state government.
