Saturday, 09 November 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

In a joint press conference in Ramgarh AJSU Party and BJP accused the INDI Allinace leaders of giving fake information in their poll affidavits. State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev said that first of all Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave wrong information about his many properties and age in the affidavit. Following his example, the affidavits of many ministers and MLAs have also come under the purview of investigation.

The latest example is of Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad. She is being accused of filing a false affidavit, he said. Prasad is running 'Amba Prasad Welfare Foundation' which she has hidden in her affidavit. Hiding this by the MLA gives rise to many questions. She should have clarified how much turnover this foundation has. Because according to the documents we have received, she is also a trustee.

Pratul said that apart from this, the MLA mentions Hurhuru residence in Hazaribagh in her letterhead, but Hurhuru Hazaribagh has not been mentioned in the affidavit. The MLA has stated her permanent address as her ancestral home in village Pahara, Keredari, district Hazaribagh. But she has not mentioned the details of the house, land and its price in the permanent address.

Along with this, in Amba Prasad's three bank accounts, account number......4390 has Rs 24.00 lakh, account number ........5937 has Rs 0.25 lakh, account number ........4041 has Rs 4.18 lakh, i.e. a total of 28 lakh 43 thousand has been frozen by the Enforcement Directorate. But in the affidavit, she has mentioned about 32 lakh rupees in three bank accounts. The MLA should explain that when an agency has frozen the account once, then how is she showing it in her account. And she should also explain this difference of four lakhs.

He said that Amba Prasad has not received as much salary as the cash, bank deposits or property she claims to have. Pratul said that the family that calls itself Dharna Expert does the business of Dharna. During their tenure, the houses of the displaced were demolished and their palaces were built. They were also accused of doing business of sand, coal and land grabbing.

In the press conference, senior leader and spokesperson of AJSU Vijay Sahu, Ramgarh BJP District President Praveen Mehta, District General Secretary Raju Chaturvedi, Rajiv Pamadatta, Bhimsen Chauhan etc were present.
