MTI organised the finals of the Chairman’s Trophy for Young Managers (CTYM) 2023-24, which ended late evening yesterday. The competition, centred around the theme "Sustainable Future through ESG (Environment, Social & Governanace) adoption- Challenges and Way forward for SAIL," witnessed remarkable participation and dedication from young managers across various units.
A distinguished three-member selection committee comprising Dr. Kirti Avishek, Associate Professor, BIT Mesra, Krishna Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel) SAIL and Atanu Bhowmick, Director Incharge (Rourkela & Bokaro) assessed the projects presented by the finalists.
Based on the rigorous evaluations and presentations, the following were the winners Champions: Team BSP comprising Sonal Shrivastava, Siddharth Roy, Vinay Kumar Pawar; 1st Runner-up: Team BSL comprising Shashaank Shekhar, Chandra Shekhar Kumar, T. Kedarnath; 2nd Runner-up: Team RSP comprising Vijay Prakash Arya, Krishna Kumar Jaiswal and Sanjay kumar Gautam.
The projects presented by the teams exemplify innovation, sustainability, and managerial excellence. Their dedication towards addressing the challenges and embracing the opportunities for a sustainable future through ESG adoption is commendable.
The CTYM 2023-24 has not only showcased the talent and potential of young managers within SAIL but has also emphasized the organization's commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability.
