The initiative was part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts of the project, aimed at improving the livelihoods of the Birhor community.“We believe that empowering women through skill development is key to creating a sustainable future for the community. The bamboo crafting training and solar lamps will significantly improve their quality of life and provide them with new opportunities,” said Shrimati Rakhi Gupta during the event. The bamboo article training offers Birhor women a valuable skill that will provide them with additional income through the creation and sale of bamboo products. This initiative not only encourages local craftsmanship but also contributes to environmental sustainability. The solar lamps will benefit families in the Birhor community by addressing the issue of inadequate lighting, particularly in remote areas. In addition to this, the project also distributed water filters and mosquito nets in October and regularly conducts health camps for the community’s well-being.The Birhor community, traditionally dependent on forest resources, benefits greatly from these initiatives that promote self-sufficiency and better living conditions.
