Cabinet nod to purchase of mobile sets for ministers and officials

he Jharkhand cabinet headed by Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave nod to 30 proposals including purchase of mobile sets for ministers, secretary level officers and others. As per cabinet decision, secretary level officers including the minister will get a mobile set worth Rs 60,000. Along with this, a recharge coupon of Rs 3000 will also be given every month. At the same time, the officers of the rank of special secretary will be given a mobile set worth Rs 45,000 and a recharge coupon of Rs 2000 per month. Gazetted rank officers including the under secretary will be given a mobile set worth Rs 30,000 and a recharge coupon of Rs 750 per month.

The Cabinet also gave its nod to relaxing the provisions of Rule 235 of the Finance Rules, under Rule 245, approval was given to obtain services of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Durgapur on the basis of nomination for DPR Preparation, Advisory Support, Time to time supervision and monitoring services and Installation and Commissioning for conducting a pilot study of recycling of solid waste generated from various government buildings located in Ranchi through Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Disposal System (i-MSWDS) in the interest of the state.

Apart from this, these are the decisions taken by the cabinet- Nursing college to be opened in Hazaribagh's Sheikh Bhikari Hospital. Approval of the proposal to make Stephen Marandi the executive chairman of the 20-point program committee.  Consent to the proposal to fill the vacant posts in the government medical college through contract basis was also made. Identity cards will be given to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Gram Gaadi Yojana as per cabinet decision. Identity cards will be made for one crore beneficiaries. The name of the Chief Minister's Behan Beti Yojana has now been changed to Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiya Yojana. Under the scheme, women in the age group of 21 to 40 years of age will get Rs 1000 per month as incentives. Approval of the scheme for the maintenance of government medical colleges.

Approval for the disposal of Jharkhand State Social Welfare Advisory Board. CSIR got the work on nomination to recycle the waste coming out of government buildings in Ranchi. The Industry Department will also benefit from the NLF scheme. Approval to Bargarh police station in Garhwa. Approval to Sikri OP in Barkagaon. Residential allowances of government servants of the state were reviewed.

Amendment to the English text of the Sarala Birla University Act, 2017 was approved. Jharkhand Prisons and Correctional Services Bill, 2024 (Jharkhand Prisons and Correctional Services Bill. 2024) was approved for restoration in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
