Schools operated by Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) have delivered exceptional performances in the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams for the academic year 2023-24. In Class 12, 88.62% of students from BSL schools across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams passed the exams. A total of 378 students from Bokaro Ispat Senior Secondary School appeared for the Class 12 exams. In Class 10, 476 students from Bokaro Ispat Senior Secondary School and Bokaro Ispat Vidyalaya took the exams, achieving a pass percentage of 88.87%.
In the Class 12 Science stream, Charu Sinha from BISS-2C scored the highest with 91.2%, followed by Sonam Kumari with 91%, and Priyambika with 88.6%. In the Commerce stream, Smriti from BISS-8B achieved the top score with 90.6%, while Satya Kumari scored 87.2%, and Mitesh Kumar scored 81.8%. In the Arts stream, Navya Kumari from BISS-2C led with 84.6%, followed by Aditya Das with 75.6%, and Sanvi Shri with 75.2%.
In the Class 10 exams, Prince Kumar from BISS-9E secured the highest marks with 93.8%. Other high scorers included Ronit Kumar from BISS-8B with 92.8% and Rimjhim Kumari from BISS-8B with 91.6%.
