On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, National Unity Day was celebrated across the country on October 31. In honor of this day, BSL organized a National Unity Run. The event began with BSL’s Director In-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari, administering the national unity pledge to all present officials and employees. Following the pledge, the National Unity Run started from Gandhi Chowk and concluded at Ispat Bhavan, with DIC Tiwari flagging off the race.
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, the run saw active participation from school children of Bokaro Steel City, members of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and the BSL Vigilance Department team, led by Chief General Manager (Vigilance) and ACVO, Gyanesh Jha.
