The Bokaro Rural Football Tournament for 2024-25, organized by Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) under its CSR and Sports departments, concluded with Bharra XI defeating Jharkhand Group of Mines (JGOM) 3-2 in a penalty shootout during the final match on December 26.
The closing ceremony, held at Kumar Mangalam Football Stadium, was attended by BSL’s Director-in-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari as the chief guest, along with senior executives and sports enthusiasts.
The tournament, running from December 8 to 26, featured 47 teams from BSL’s operational villages, with 46 matches played in total. The winners were awarded trophies and praised for their performance, showcasing BSL’s commitment to rural sports development.
