In a concerted effort to control crime and maintain law and order in the district, Bokaro Police, under the direction of the Superintendent of Police Pujya Prakash conducted a special operation across all police stations from 12:00 AM on July 20, 2024, to 12:00 AM on July 21, 2024. The operation targeted individuals with outstanding warrants and those engaged in criminal activities.
The operation, led by various station in-charges, aimed to apprehend individuals with pending arrest warrants and those involved in illicit activities. The comprehensive campaign included crackdowns on suspects involved in theft, robbery, and drug trafficking. The police action resulted in the arrest of 22 individuals who have been remanded to judicial custody. Additionally, efforts are ongoing to curb illegal activities in the district, with 24-hour vigilance in place.
The Bokaro Police have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of the residents through such consistent operations.
