With voting set to occur on November 13 and 20, and counting scheduled for November 23, DC Jadhav is responsible for ensuring that the election process in Bokaro’s four constituencies — Bokaro, Chas, Bermo, and Gomia — runs smoothly.
In a press conference , DC Jadhav confirmed the timeline for the election in Bokaro, emphasizing that around 1.5 million voters will have the opportunity to participate on November 20. With the Model Code of Conduct now in effect, she assured that all necessary steps are being taken to uphold fair and transparent elections across the district.
DC Jadhav provided a detailed overview of key dates, announcing that the official election notification will be released on October 22. The deadline for filing nominations is set for October 29, with the final date for withdrawal being November 1. Speaking on behalf of the administration, she reiterated that every measure is being put in place to ensure seamless voting and counting.
To streamline the process, DC Jadhav has appointed a team of officers to oversee each constituency. Chas SDO Pranjal Dhanda will manage Bokaro, while Prabhash Dutta, has been assigned to Chandanakiyari. Additional Collector Md. Mumtaz Ansari will handle Gomia, and SDO Bermo Mukesh is in charge of Bermo.
The DC also confirmed that the nomination sites for the constituencies have been arranged, with candidates for Gomia and Bermo filing at the Sub-Divisional Office in Bermo, and those for Bokaro and Chandanakiyari filing at the Chas SDO office.
With a strong and experienced team in place, DC Vijaya Jadhav is confident that Bokaro will witness a fair and efficient election process with maximum voter participations.
