BJP using investigation agencies to win elections: JMM

Wednesday, 30 October 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General Secretary and Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya, on Tuesday, attacked BJP and said that these people are using investigation agencies as tools to win elections.

Bhattacharya said that he had said this five days ago. He said that due to BJP's political failure, they have to take the help of investigation agencies and BJP wants to use them as their tool.

The JMM General Secretary said, I want to ask the investigation agency how do you choose the time and from where do you get the characters, if this is what you have to do then what is the result of it. "You are investigating; there is nothing wrong in that. But what is the result of that, this should be made clear. Asked why do you bring out things by citing sources," he said.

Bhattacharya cited the statement of the Supreme Court in which it is said that ED's action is done under political motive. Attacking the BJP, he said that they do not have any issue today. After so much time, it has been proved that these people cannot speak on infiltration and neither can they say anything about nepotism. He said that even after repeated questions, the central government is not telling where the infiltration has taken place.

Bhattacharya said that these people could not bring even a single meaningful issue in the middle of the elections. He said, we had raised the question yesterday that the returning officer is from Garhwa, following the order from above, the nomination of a candidate was accepted but the nomination of our candidate was rejected on the same issue, which means that the Election Commission has also been instructed to ensure a one-sided victory of the BJP or else action will be taken against you.

The JMM General Secretary said that today the BJP leaders have forgotten the limits of their language, some talk about killing and chasing, while others talk about division and cutting.

Bhattacharya said, today the nomination for the second phase has been completed. Now it is being heard that the PM will come here every two days and the Home Minister is coming as a filler. "Leaders who say if we divide, we will cut are also coming. This language is not right for democracy," he said.

The JMM General Secretary said that it is not clear where the state leadership of BJP is amidst all this.
