Dhanbad BJP MLA Raj Sinha has been served a notice for allegedly supporting Congress candidates indirectly in a speech during voters awareness campaign organized by Chitragupta Maha Parivar.
Raj Sinha on Sunday during the meeting had said since we all are descendants of Lord Chitragupta and considered intellectuals, thus take a pledge that family members of the Chitragupta Maha Parivar should vote only for a candidate with a clean image in the Lok Sabha elections. This he said amidst an audience of around 1000 persons waving his left hand and also quoted sentences of BJP founder Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay . This has been considered as an anti party activity and has been served notice of indiscipline with directive to reply within two days. And Monday late evening he waa served the showcase by party general secretary Aditya Sahu.
Besides, five mandal presidents of Dhanbad assembly constituency too have been served notice of not working (supporting)for party candidates here.
The issue of ignoring party candidates for Lok Sabha is supposedly the main reason. Yet, it's being said that this action is to contain the growing factionalism in the party since the party chose to field Dhulu Mahto as candidate from Dhanbad.
Now it's to be seen what effect this causes as Raj has a good command on common mass being two term MLA and the Chitragupta Maha Parivar has around 1.5.lakh voters in Dhanbad and Bokaro assembly segment that is part of Dhanbad Lok sabha seat.
