BJP leaders spreading hate in State: JMM

Wednesday, 17 July 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) attacked BJP's Assembly election In-Charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Co-In-Charge Himanta Biswa Sarma and said that Himanta is not able to see the flood situation in Assam, where more than 180 people were killed, thousands became homeless but he is spreading hate among people of the State.

Addressing a press meet JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the people have settled here for centuries, there is mutual harmony, brotherhood is intact. “He has been brought to speak against them. But this is Jharkhand. This is not Assam. He should be asked where the NRC went in Assam. In the NRC, the names of a large number of people of Hindu community there were not registered. He does not say anything on CAA and NRC, where did these two issues go, what happened to these issues. Why does he not say anything about this? Why does he not say anything at all when he goes to the Bengal seat from where an MP has become a Union Minister,” he added.

Bhattacharya said that he has been called here to promote the politics of hatred. “Himanta should not sow the seeds of hatred here, go and see Assam. Government facilities should not be used to divide the society. Half the Country is in flood situation, half the Country is in drought situation. They do not say anything about MSP. But they are coming here to find MSP. There is no problem in anyone's coming and going. Anyway, these people are Union Ministers and CMs of some State, so under the protocol we have to provide them Government security and facilities. But Government facilities should not be used to divide the society,” he added.

The party General Secretary said that Himanta has come again today. He has come here to recharge. “It is strange that these people got discharged in the Lok Sabha elections. Then they got discharged in the by-elections, so these people are coming here to get discharged. They are coming to divide the society and caste. In the next elections, the people of Jharkhand will not rest until they have completely discharged them. Anyway, Himanta's job is to spread poison in the society,” he added.

Bhattacharya said that after facing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, there is restlessness and panic in the BJP. “On July 20, the Union Home Minister and other central BJP leaders are going to arrive at Prabhat Tara Maidan. They have received a clear message from Maharashtra, Haryana and Jammu Kashmir. They have started getting feedback in Jharkhand. That is why they are restless. But whatever they do here, their elimination in the assembly elections from Jharkhand is certain. The people of Jharkhand will no longer tolerate hatred. Whoever wants to spread poison, can do so,” he added.

He said that Babulal Marandi is tweeting four to five times every day these days. Actually, he no longer has the courage to go to the field. That is why he has started a new job from a closed room.
