Social worker and BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale recently paid a visit to Asia's largest private hospital, Amrita Hospital in Faridabad. This visit left a lasting impression on Kale, who praised the institution for its unwavering dedication to serving the needy and providing world-class healthcare services. After meeting with Shri Nizamritananda Puri Ji Maharaj, the Administrative Director of Amrita Hospital, Kale discussed the potential of extending the hospital's services to patients from Jharkhand, opening new doors of possibilities for the region's underprivileged population.
Located adjacent to Delhi, the newly built Amrita Hospital in Faridabad stands as a symbol of the health revolution in India. Spanning an impressive 135 acres, the hospital boasts a serene environment with lush greenery, clean gardens, and meticulously organized services. Signboards offering assistance and directions are strategically placed, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors. This vast campus houses a 2,600-bed facility, including over 500 ICU-CCU beds, and provides world-class treatment for various ailments, including cancer. Additionally, the hospital offers training programs to enhance skills and supports thousands of self-help groups, contributing to the overall development of the community.
From the moment visitors enter the hospital, they are greeted with a sense of tranquility and warmth. Security personnel and hospital staff welcome everyone with the phrase "Namah Shivay," reflecting the institution's ethos of compassion and service. The main building, with its gleaming floors and well-organized layout, does not resemble a typical hospital. Unlike other private hospitals in India, Amrita Hospital maintains a calm and orderly environment despite its large capacity, thanks to its thoughtful design and efficient management.
Despite Jharkhand's 24-year history as an independent state, it still lacks world-class healthcare facilities. Residents often have to travel to other states for better medical treatment. Recognizing this gap, Amarpreet Singh Kale discussed the potential for establishing an Amrita Hospital in Jharkhand, aiming to provide accessible and comfortable treatment for the state's population at the Faridabad facility.
