The BJP has reacted to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha spokesperson Vinod Pandey's claim that the Indi alliance is going to win more than 60 seats. BJP state spokesperson Ajay Sah described it as “daydreaming”. He said that the BJP has fought against the Hemant government on the ground for the last five years and the party has clearly understood the mood of the people during the Parivartan Yatra. He claims that the people of Jharkhand are in a mood for change and there is a wave of BJP in the state, which is visible from Santhal to Kolhan.
Ajay Sah further said that during the Lok Sabha elections, BJP had gained lead in 51 assembly constituencies. According to him, Lok Sabha elections were just a trailer and the full movie will be released in Jharkhand on November 23, when there will be a historic change in the state and BJP will form the government with more than two-third majority. He also said that there is anger among the youth of Jharkhand against the Hemant government, and this anger can bring many surprising results in the results. Sah believes that due to this anger of the public, many big leaders of the Indi alliance including Hemant Soren can lose their seats and the existence of the Indi alliance can also be in danger.
Targeting JMM and Congress, the BJP spokesperson said that the alliance had accepted its defeat in the first phase of the election itself. This is the reason why after the first phase, absurd statements of their leaders started coming. He also took a dig at JMM spokespersons and said that one spokesperson is calling the statement of another spokesperson personal. Moreover, he accused the Congress-JMM of releasing their manifesto just a day before the election, which indicated that they had already sensed defeat.
The BJP advised the JMM and Congress to introspect why the people decided to change against their misrule of the last five years. Sah said the alliance should analyse its failures without waiting for the election results.
