Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Friday accused the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for approving tree felling near Chhatarpur and making binding remarks to the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena.
In a press conference by the Delhi BJP, Sachdeva showed the documents related to the file of Tree felling signed by the Kejriwal himself on January 24 and said that the whole AAP stands exposed.
“The Chief Minister not only approved the tree felling but also made a binding remark that the Lieutenant Governor is bound by the advice of the Chief Minister and cabinet in this matter,” Sachdeva alleged. He added that Kejriwal left no space for Saxena to deny approval to the felling of trees.
Delhi BJP chief stated that senior AAP leaders and Delhi Ministers, who have been holding press conferences in the matter and accusing Lt Governor of approving the tree felling, always knew of the matter.
“For the last two weeks Delhi Ministers Saurabh Bhardwaj, Gopal Rai and other leaders of AAP had been constantly raising in the media through press conferences that the DDA allowed Tree felling under the pressure of the Lt. Governor.
